At MimiPaws, we are committed to finding loving, forever homes for our rescued pets. However, we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. Our return policy is designed to ensure the well-being of the pet while providing a fair process for adopters.

📌 Eligibility for Returns

We accept pet returns under the following conditions:

✅ Health Concerns – If the pet has an undisclosed medical condition at the time of adoption, you may return them within 14 days for evaluation.
✅ Compatibility Issues – If the pet does not adjust well to your home environment or other pets, returns are accepted within 30 days of adoption.
✅ Unforeseen Personal Circumstances – If you can no longer care for the pet due to relocation, illness, or financial hardship, we encourage you to contact us immediately.

📍 All returns must be scheduled in advance—please do not abandon or rehome the pet without notifying us.

⚠️ Non-Refundable Adoption Fees

🚫 Adoption fees are non-refundable, as they contribute to the care, medical expenses, and rescue efforts of our animals. However, in some cases, we may offer partial credit toward a future adoption.

🐶 What Happens After a Return?

• The pet will undergo a medical and behavioral evaluation before being placed in a new home.

• You may be given the option to foster the pet until a new adopter is found.

• We will work with you to find the best solution for both you and the pet.
